Irene Stolarczyk | President
Irene and her family have been PTA members with Hage Elementary for six years and counting. She was the Historian on the PTA Executive Board in 2023-24. As a first-time-ever PTA President at the young age of 69 years old, she is having fun with it!
Irene was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and met her husband, Frank, in 11th grade English class. They married in 1980 and moved to San Diego in 1982. They have been together for 52 years in all... and married for 44 of them! She worked with Federal Government for 45 years She started with the IRS Internal Affairs office in Cleveland, Ohio and relocated to U.S. Customs Service Internal Affairs office in San Diego in 1982. In 2008, she transferred to Customs and Border Protection Internal Affairs office where she retired in 2020 as the Office Management Programs Officer.
Her husband, Frank, is her wingman when it comes to anything PTA related. They have one daughter, Victoria, and are now raising their two granddaughters--Alaia and Aliana. Alaia is a former Panther and is currently a 7th grader at Challenger Middle School where she participates in the Drama Club. Aliana is a 5th grader at Hage and loves to read, ride her bike, cook, and loves any animal she comes in contact with. She is also into ice skating, Girl Scouts, and will be starting gymnastics soon.
Irene and her family is happy spending time at home as well as going around San Diego on the weekends visiting Sea World, museums, trying new restaurants, and going to the movies. At home, there are family movie nights, working in the yard with flowers and vegetable plants, trying new recipes, and working around the house with different projects. Irene's personal hobbies include cooking, reading, gardening, cross stitch, and taking care of her family.
